Kids’ Kingdom was a popular playground in Maury County Park that was built in 1993. In 2014, it was decided although the structure is basically sound, because of its age and condition, it likely would not comply with current safety requirements. It was constructed out of treated lumber, a material no longer allowed in constructing playground equipment
